Very friendly. Called the dealership for my warranty. They went above and beyond to help me with the process. Got a tremendous feeling of truthfulness and gave a feeling of trustworthy which is what I like to feel when dealing with a mechanic. Highly recommend

We go to Tony's Automotive for practically every car need! We have taken our 2013 VW Jetta Wagon, our 2008 Hyundai Sante Fe and our 1976 International Scout. They have taken great care of our cars, given us fair pricing and fantastic customer service. We have needed rides and the manager even drove us in his own car! We trust them with our cars and we refer all of our friends! We are grateful for a "small town mechanic feel," in a big city.

This place is bad news!! I took my car there a couple of years ago and they quoted me $1200 to fix the problem. I took my car elsewhere, and got the problem fixed for $300.00. I decided to give them a second chance, and took my daughter's car there last week. They immediately jumped to the conclusion that the fuel pump was bad and charged me $200.00 for a diagnostic test, without pointing out to me that the test was going to cost $200.00. Then they came back with their magic quote of $1000.00 to fix the fuel pump. I took the car to another auto shop who ran all of the diagnostic tests, for NO charge, and told me the fuel pump tested fine. Needless to say, I won't be back to Tony's. Customers beware...DON'T trust these guys!!

I hate this place, I spend money $180 for nothing..I bring may car this place to fix my aircon..they said no leak and only freon problem but after 2 days broke again..I bring it back to fix again and they said we need to pay $870 again to fix it b-coz the condenser leaking..bullshit!!! you guys makesure, first time you fix it you should know everything so we can't spend more money...

We are very sorry that you had a poor experience with us. We take our customers opinions seriously. With an air conditioning system we add leak dye to assist in finding leaks. It is not always possible to find all leaks until the leak dye runs through the system. We do our best to let you know there is always a possibility of other leaks. We are sorry if there was a misunderstanding about returning for further testing if the problem was not completely resolved.

I have been going to this establishment for several years and have been "over the moon" happy with every visit. They have even told me I didn't need a specific service yet when I've gone in for an opinion (which is totally unheard of in this field). Totally trustworthy, honest, and they treat you like one of their family-with interest and concern. Love,love,love the peace of mind they offer in today's world with something as vital as our vehicle. Have referred many family member and friends and they've all agreed with this testimonial. As a women-it's especially important that one can "trust" their opinion and drive out with confidence.

I've taken two different cars to Tony's for servicing and have always found the staff to be very pleasant and courteous. I've also always had the impression the shop charges a lot for its work, but it was merely an impression. Yesterday, however, I had what seemed to be a small example of possibly high pricing. I had my car inspected and one of the recommendations was to replace the cabin filter. The estimated cost to do that was just under $80. I decided to find out what's involved in replacing a cabin filter on my car and looked online at how-to videos and prices for a new replacement filter. I called another AAA garage and two dealers to get quotes for the sake of comparison. I discovered that a new filter runs around $20 online, a little more at automotive shops in town and quite a bit less at some online parts sellers. Online videos and even dealers make it clear that the replacing itself is very simple (disengaging the glove box door, pulling out the filter housing, and inserting the new filter) and takes about five minutes. In checking with two dealers in town, I was told that one would do it for $70, as part of a current sale, another for $63; the other AAA garage would charge close to $70, I was told. Obviously Tony's presented the highest cost for this quick and simple job. My impression now is that probably all or most garages are charging a lot for their work but Tony's even more, which doesn't square, in my mind, with all the claims on their Web site and their high AAA rating. I had a similar experience with Tony's last August, too involved to describe here, but I have my doubts now about this business and will likely try elsewhere in the future. I've learned that it is definitely worthwhile for customers to ask questions and seek more information online and at other garages before handing over a lot of money that could perhaps be saved.
